Map3 needed a brand that could bridge the gap between the familiar world of Web2 and the emerging, often complex world of Web3. With Web3 being a difficult concept for many to grasp, it was crucial to create a visual identity that felt approachable and intuitive, resonating with a wide range of users. The color palette had to strike a balance—representing both the established Web2 internet and the futuristic Web3/metaverse landscape—while maintaining a sense of familiarity.

Additionally, we ensured that the brand would be versatile across different touchpoints, including app interfaces and logo applications, while maintaining clarity and engagement.

We achieved this by using a gradient transition of blues and purples, symbolizing the shift from the familiar to the futuristic, with a key visual transition occurring at the ‘3’ in the logo. This design resonated deeply with users, creating a sense of trust and engagement while also making Web3 feel more accessible. The cohesive color palette and thoughtful design allowed Map3 to stand out as an innovative yet approachable brand in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
